John's Story
Hi Everyone!!
Well after working in Mechanical Engineering for over 40 years I retired for real in 2010. My partner was due to retire in 2013 but he missed out by 6 weeks. He died after we had 35 great years together. I still live up here in Maine in the house we designed and built in 1990. Since retiring I am busier than ever volunteering in the local school district, being a member of the School Board of Directors, working on the building committee for a new school going up nearby and working as a trustee fo...Expand for more
r our local library. This work plus maintaining my property keeps me very busy and active. I see my mother often; she still lives in Quincy..I told her of our upcoming reunion and she said it made her feel really old. Of course none of us have changed at all!!
I still have my Manet yearbook and my science fair medals. I got rid of my bowling trophies a long time ago..they were a great laugh for my friends who didn't know how much of a geek I was back then.
