Life Well thirty years is along time to play catch up on what has been happening in my life, but here goes nothing. I have 2 children, which are now at the ages of 27 and 26. My son is the eldest and he is single and not doing anything good with his life at all. My daughter is back at home with me with my 3 grandchildren. They are the light of my life 2 girls and one boy ages are 11 years old, 9 years old and the man of the house which is 4 years old. I have been married for the second time for almost 21 years (will be in Feb of this year 2007). Not sure where that is going or how things will continue. We have been all together for 25 years. I have been going back to school part time since 2001 and just recently started the full time sence for the last 2 years. It was taking to long the other way. I will have by this May my AS degree in elementary education and by next December my AA in Liberal Arts. For as long as I have be in college they should give me at least 2 degrees. I volunteer at my grandchildrens school for now but hope to get a job there or at least in a Citrus county school after graduation. I have been President of the Student Activities Board for the past 2 years, VP on the Board of Presidents for the last year, made the deans list every year since I have started and I will graduate with honors from Phi Theta Kappa in both graduation ceremonies. I have been to the capital in Tallahassee and discussed issues with the senate about student rights and issues about college funding and other issues, as a member of the Student Government Organization. Over the years I have traveled with the college and when I was working for Childhood Development Services Head Start program. Been to NYC, Tennessee, Georgia and several place right here in Florida (Miami, Ft. Lauderdale, West Palm Beach, St. Pete, Gainsville, Orlando, St. Augustine, Tallahassee) ...Expand for more
