Joni's Story
Well, I've lived here in the mountains of North Carolina longer than I lived in Minn...my life is here and I love it, but I still have my Minnesota roots. Some people say I've aquired a "southern drawl," but let me talk to one of my Northern friends, and I'm back to "talking Minnesotan!"
I work as an RN in a large OB/GYN practice and love it. The changing of the seasons and beauty of the area (not to mention winters that REALLY only last 2-3 months) make for a kinder and gentler world....Expand for more
I own my own home with a beautiful view on 2 1/2 acres, with a hot tub on the back deck that one can feel free to get 'neked' with no one able to see. I've been able to do some traveling -went to Germany last Spring and found my mother's family tree. I have made some wonderful and lifelong friends here, but have also managed to keep so many of my Minn. friends in my life. I am lucky to be in great health, so all in all, life is pretty darn good! I wish the same for any and all of you!
