Joni's Story
How can I catch you up on the past 37 years? It would take forever!
I left MN when I married (the first time!)in '74, and moved to Sacramento, CA, where I worked, went to school and supported my student husband. Bought our first house in '76 for $24,950 - a 3 BR, 1 bath, 975 sq. foot home. (When we divorced in '80 and sold the house it sold for more than $50k!)
I kept moving south - Fresno, Visalia, Lindsay and, eventually, D...Expand for more
ana Point, when my job would transfer me to a new location. I even did a year in Eugene, OR in the early '80's.
When I moved to southern CA I thought it would be for 2 or 3 years but, 25 years later I'm still here!
I'm really thinking about moving to some other state in the next couple of years - maybe even back to Minnesota!
Update: I DID move back to MN at the end of August '09. And, funny thing, I'm really enjoying it!
