I remembered long ago (1981-82) me outside in the street by my house waiting for the school bus to pick me up. I was nervous, curious, and thinking, what are my classmates gonna think of me? Boy! When they find out--I can't speak a leak of English this might be embarrassing---it was! This trend continued through high school. Again, (1983-84) me outside waiting for the school bus to pick me up and take me to high school, but this time I was going to be a freshman-(wow!).-- My language barrier was still a huge problem for me, but somehow I always managed to make it.--I have to say--this problem bothered the heck out of me . I was given the impression of a person that was not really me. I have to credit my personality and character helping me with the friendship of many classmates who bust out in laughs or curious with the things that I did or say. Yep! This was something special about me. The next step of my life was making it to the local university here in Clarksville, Tn. (Austin Peay State University) --Don't ask how I made it, but my Godly I made it.
