Joseph's Story
After graduation, I joined the US Navy,
I live over in Guam USA for two years onboard the USS Haleakea AE25 which was an amonitions ship,I then traveled around the world twice onboard the USS Enterprise cvn65,which is an aircraft carrier ship,we had over 5,000 people onboard, then live in norfork Va for 6 years. I came home to Sav, got married to a lady from NY, returned to VA were we had two children together, JoTia Quinnae Barnes and Joseph Barnes IV. I got out of the navy in 1994 after serving 8 years. ved to Atlanta. I got hired with the railroad (CSX) in 1995. I got married again in 2000 to Gail Blount (Groves HS 83) and devorced in 2002. I married again in 2004 to Angel Futch (Beach HS 85) (so far so good)! In May 09 I had a close call with death,I went to the emergency room with a really bad headache and it was descovered that I had three brain anurysiams, and one had burst. I stayed in the hospital for 3 weeks in ICU,I have made a full recovery, im ok now, thank GOD!! I still drive trains for CSX as of today with the help of my GOD.
