Life This is like a bad high-school writing assignment. It seems like I spent a large amount of time in school; high school; college, the military. Then I went back to school for my teaching certificate and then Graduate school a couple of times. At the age of 40 I got married after having given up hope for the most part. My best friend kept telling me that there was someone for me out there. I now work in a suburban school district teaching social studies. I live about 15-minutes from school and I love my community. I have great in-laws and a super wife. Right now I'm looking forward to the summer, it will be my first summer off in 19-years. Lots of yard and housework to catch up on. School School was fun, at least somewhat. In some ways I'd like to return and take the "road less traveled." You can't go back; but if you could -- I'd be less serious about what the future would hold. High school was important but it was the friendships made and how you used the knowledge that was the key.
