Joseph Damiano:  

I'm Joseph and I grew up in Wayne, New Jersey, while others might argue that I grew up while playing in bands from the late sixties to the turn of the Century plus some. I am single, I am now divorced and have one beautiful stepdaughter named Haven and a handsome son named Joseph William Vito Damiano. His name honors his grandfathers: my late father Joseph, & my ex-wife's late father William Lynn, and his name also honors my late Uncle: Vick (Vito) Damiano. At one time my Uncle Vick & my father Joseph operated Damiano & Damiano Realty in Paterson, N.J.- where they grew up. My Grandparents both came through Ellis Island from Naples, Italy. My Uncle's children: Angela & Karen helped raise me & I was a little terror as a kid. I started playing the drums with drum lessons from my cousin Linda Bruno. Then my Dad got a professional Jazz drummer named Sal Carini to give me jazz, syncopation & beginning rock lessons until I progressed into Rock N Roll. Sal Carini died during that time, he had a son at Wayne Valley High School named Joe Carini. My education also included the Institute of Audio Research ran by New York University. I gradated with an A.A.S. in Electrical Engineering from R.E.T.S. in Nutley, N.J. in 1983. I passed The National Electricians Code Course in 1989 & earned my F.C.C. GROL license while in the U.S. Navy 1997. I graduated from the University of Phoenix 2003 with a B.S. in Business Administration: with my major in E-Commerce.
