Joseph's Story
It has been interesting to see the photos and read the comments from familiar faces after 46 years - hard to believe that number.
Here is my story:
After graduating from U.D., I joined Xerox in Dayton,got married in 1973 and moved to Ft. Wayne, Ind. starting a new job with Pepsico. A transfer in 1976 led us to Pleasanton, CA - a great small town with a strong Midwestern flavor and a lot of Buckeyes living there.
Rather than transferring back to Ft. Wayne in 1978,I switched to the photographic industry as General Manager of a division in San Francisco. That led to 33 years with major photo companies ending my career with Fujifilm in April 2009.
My wife and I divorced in 1991 and I became a full time single parent to our two daughters ages 13 and 15 at that time. Having grown up with three younger sisters, I felt prepared for a new phase in my life. I totally underestimated the challenges but we all survived the experience.

w Photo taken last year.)She was also a single parent with a boy and girl close in ages to my children.
We were married in 1997 and now we have six grandchildren with #6 having arrived in November.
Mona had a commercial design firm that she sold several years ago. She created a new venture that specializes in design and project management, land entitlement issues and other construction related matters.
Full time retirement is not in cards for us. In the meantime, we are fortunate to have all but one of our grandchildren in CA and we spend a lot of time with them as they participate in extracurricular activities.
We have been blessed with a healthy family and great friends here in CA. - many from Dayton and other parts of Ohio. An annual trip back to Dayton to see my sisters and their families keeps me in touch with the Real World.
I have seen many names on the Classmates registry that go all of the way back to elementary school. I look forward to learning more about what everyone has been doing these many years.
