Joseph is from Black Hawk, Colorado. Joseph's schools include Nederland High School. Joseph later attended Metropolitan State College of Denver (AGI Systems Toolkit, Space Commercialization, Management) , Red Rocks Community College (Associate of Science, Pre-Engineering) .

I gained most of my engineering expertise and abilities by participating in our high school robotics club. For many years now we have been competing in the FIRST Robotics Competition. I participated every year I was in High School and during my Junior and Senior year I was team captain. I even joined our crew at the Nationals in the spring of 2010 at Atlanta since we had won our Colorado regional. I have been a mentor since graduating in 2009.
I have worked for Golden Gate Canyon State Park for the last five summers. I enjoy the job because it lets me see the wonderful Colorado outdoors. This year I got my "red card" which make me a certified wildland firefighter.
I am a Drummer. I have played the drums for about ten years now and own a full drum set. I enjoy playing all sorts of music on my drums and am willing to jam any time that I have available.
Currently I am attending Red Rocks Community College and working on my Associates of Science in Engineering. I should be done with that be this next spring. I plan on transferring to study Aerospace Engineering and maybe something else.".
