Life
I was born in Newark NJ to the late Howard Newell Carter (Douglas (GA) HS '37) and the late Rose Arabell Logue (RBCHS '42), and raised in Irvington NJ, Alexandria VA, Keansburg and Red Bank NJ. Attended 1st grade in St Anne's, Keansburg NJ. Attended 2nd thru 8th grades at St James School, Red Bank NJ. Attended freshman year (class of 1965) at Red Bank Catholic HS. Transferred to Mother of the Savior Seminary (now Camden County College) for 10th thru 12th (graduating in 1965). 7. Entered USAF and was trained as a linguist (Russian at Syracuse U / Arabic at DLIWC Monterey CA). USAF from 1967 to 1974. Federal Civil Service (overseas) from 1974 until 1996 retirement. Flew into Indianapolis IN. Active in Boy Scouts with our son, an Eagle Scout, and a BS (BioChem) grad of Warren Wilson College (NC) and current PA student at Wake Forest University Medical School (NC).. Our daughter is the budget analyst for the Indianapolis Public Library system and MLIS graduate of IUPUI in December 2018. I am Webmaster for the Northeast District, Crossroads of America Council.
