Workplace
Mostly short term contract work. At the moment (9/08) I am gearing up to head to Antarctica for the second time. I will be working at two Air Force sites there as well as a scientific research camp for the University of Alaska.
Most recently I was in the Gulf of Mexico on an offshore oil and gas platform, commissioning a gas powered micro turbine system.
Before that I was working for British Petroleum (Beyond Petroleu...Expand for more
m) in Azerbaijan and the Republic of Georgia doing power and control systems work on the BTC and SCP pipelines.
Military
1990-1991 - Lowry AFB, Denver, CO. 3453rd STUS, Avionics Systems & Electronic Warfare School
1991-1994 - RAF Upper Heyford, Oxfordshire, England. 20th Component Repair Squadron. Worked on EF-111A and F-111 aircraft.
1995 - Cannon AFB, Clovis, NM. (time to go)
1998-2001 - Defense contractor, Raytheon Technical Services, serving DTRA (formerly OSIA) in support of the INF Treaty, in Votkinsk, Russia. We actually x-rayed nuclear missiles!
