Joseph's Story
Life
I have been happily married to my second wife for the past 26years. We traveled to China in 2001 to adopt a baby girl. She is 23 now. We also have a 20 year old boy and in July of 2005 were blessed with the birth of a girl who is now 18. I have 3 children from my first marriage. My oldest daughter is 43. My eldest son is 40 and was in the Marine Corps and as an avionics tech on CH-46 helicopters. He is now working for Equifax in Boise. My other son is 38 and after college began working for the railroad. My wife and I are very active in our church and enjoy time with our family. I enjoy working out at Anytime Fitness. I was an active pilot until I sold my airplane years ago. I am starting to become interested in digital photography. I have practiced orthodontics since 1983 and still love it. I also play and collect guitars and am learning to play the drums. I also obtained my FFL some years ago and sell and transfer firearms.
College

ear at La Sierra College in Riverside, CA and changed my major to chemistry. I was planning to apply for either dental or medical school. I moved again the next year to NMSU and had decided to apply for dental school. I was accepted after my junior year of college so I never finished my chemistry degree. I went to Oregon for dental shool and finished in 1978. After practicing general dentistry for the U.S. Public Health Service as a commissioned officer for three years I returned to Oregon Health Sciences University for a residency in orthodontics. I finished my speciality training in 1983 and opened a private practice in Eastern Oregon.
Workplace
After college I went to dental school. I graduated dental school in 1978 and worked for U.S. Public Health Service for 3 years. I returned to Oregon Health Sciences University for a residency in orthodontics which I completed in June of 1983. I opened my private practice in the fall of that year and have been at it ever since. I have since retired. I am only working to finish some cases.
