Joseph's Story
After high school, spent 5 years at Clarkson College of Technology in Potsdam - working for a Masters in Mathematics and Computer Science. Upon leaving college, I found work in Rochester, NY working for General Railway Signal, writing software for train traffic control. I moved back to Malone 1.5 years into this job - I was burned out from almost 20 consecutive years of school and work.
After five months had passed, I began looking for work again - which brought me to Maryland working for Motorola writing software for police, fire and emergency medical dispatching systems. sible for receiving satellite imagery from the Landsat 4 polar orbiter. I also worked on a "Over-the-Horizon" radar system.
Spent 4.5 years for GE and moved on to a smaller company, Sygnetron Protection Systems, securing the Cape Canaveral and Vandenberg Air Force bases. After 2 years, I again moved on to GTE Government Systems where I obtained my credentials to work in the national intelligence community. I spent over 11 years with GTE until joining Frontier Technologies, Inc. My work involves national intelligence in a very secure environment. I was with FTI for over 16 years when the company was acquired in 2014 by my current company, OPS Consulting, LLC. I'm still working in a national intelligence capacity.
