Joseph's Story
Fortunately though bedridden and quite sick, my wife Linda takes good care of me. Being rated 100% permanently and totally disabled service connected, the VA takes care of the all medical and other expenses. I would give all this alleged security up in a minute to regain my physical abilities. Only a miracle will get that.
Sadly my eldest daughter, Helen, died in 1998. My son Joey, who was a lieutenant in the Illinois State Police is now retired after 25 years. My other daughter, Rose, is an RN and works for the State of CT. They both keep close contact as do my 8 grandchildren and one great grandchild.
Both of my parents died one at 84 and the other at 93. They had remained in Shelton after marrying for about 65 years.

ed through such often trying experiences. However for me, many of these things fulfilled the reality of my life and expanded it to new horizons
Remembering always the wisdom of the ancient orator Cato, The Elder who said, "We cannot control the evil tongues of others, but a good life enables us to disregard them" which has guided me throughout.
My satisfaction of having achieved many goals which at times seemed impossible now offers me new beautiful episodes for my future. For many years a Red Sox fan, my primary care in life now is how they will fare in 2015. Gosh, who introduced the "Free Agent Clause"? Well, they probably needed it.
My best wishes to all of my former classmates wishing you all continued good health and happiness.
Sincerely, Joe Micci.SR
