Joseph's Story

Workplace: I was working in construction in Richmond. After I recovered from a car accident I moved to Orlando Fl. There I worked in a Photo Lab until I got established in the area. Then I got a job doing landscaping and let several years slip away. I worked in the fuel business for about 10 years driving tanker trucks. From there I got on with a company that pumps concrete. So for the last 19 years I have been running a concrete boom pump. And I should add that I'm tired of that now. Life as I see it: I love the Florida life style, boating, fishing and scuba. I have been island hopping in places most people have only dreamed of. I have spent time in the Bahamas, the Dry Tourtugas, and countless inland coves and anchorages that surround us around here. ed cove that we stay lots of weekends and sometimes longer. Kinda like a redneck yacht club !!! There's always a party going on there, lots of friends to drink and party with. We also run Radio controlled monster trucks and boats. That is a lot of fun, and every now and then I'll go to Tampa and compete on a Real race track and not the construction site bashing that we normally do. Our future: We have bought a house in the country up in north west GA. It's in a little town called Franklin. Going to be a big change from here, but Orlando is not the place it used to be. I hope I don't have to sell our boat but a John Deere tractor will mow our pasture better than a boat would !! We'll just have to see how the economy does and go from there. Me and my wife are ready to get back to a place where life is a little slower and the stress level is lower. And we are so tired of the traffic around here.
