Life I went away to York Christian College in York,Nebraska for a semester but quickly realized that Nebraska winters weren't for me.I came home and went to WKU for 3 semesters but concentrated more on having a good time than on my studies.In 1985 I had a job opportunity that took me to Port Charlotte ,Florida.I spent the next 10 years managing and supervising in the hospitality field.I moved all over Florida and made several trips out of the country.In 1996 I moved back home to BG.In 1997 I met the person I thought was my soulmate and got married about a year or so later. We started a service business in 2001.Things were going very well for us (businesswise anyway.LOL)but unfortunately in 2006 my wife and I got a divorce.I lost very much at that point including a large part of myself.Looking back I now realize that the only truly valuable thing I lost was my stepson Brandon.I love him very much and regardless of where I am he will always hold a special place in my heart. I now find myself starting all over again.It is sort of sad but is also kind of exciting in it's own way.I talked to someone once who had lost their home to a tornado.I will always remember them speaking of how devastating that was but after finally accepting the loss that the rebuilding process was really fun.It gave them that chance to do things differently that they would probably never have had without experiencing the loss in the first place.I view my current place in life the same way.I spent a large por...Expand for more
