Joseph's Story
Life
After CHS, I went to the State University of NY in upstate NY. Then went on to do a Master's degree at the Univ of Vermont. I left the US in 1984 to do a PhD in Cape Town (South Africa). I was originally going to be there for 3 years, but liked it so much I stayed for 9! Then received an Alexander von Humboldt fellowship and moved to Germany for 2 years. In 1995 I moved to London, where I lived for 10 years with my wife Samantha and where my daughter was born. In 2005 the entire family moved to Singapore where we have been happily living ever since.

I studied biology at the State University of New York. Completed my B.Sc. in 1981 and then studied for a Master's degree at the University of Vermont. I left the US in June of 1984 and moved to Cape Town, South Africa to study for my doctorate - I originally planned to live there for 3 years, but liked it so much I stayed for 9! Moved to Germany in 1993, learned the language and lived there for 2 years. Moved to London in 1995 and have been here ever since. Life goes on, and I visit Newark (my folks still live there) from time to time. Would like to meet up with old friends from HS.
