Joseph's Story
As we all know, the years have not lays done justice to us. At, 68 in Nov I realize some of the major changes at not very flattering. Now a member of the BALDING club, 240 lbs and shrinking a 1/4 inch (now 7' 73/4") and wrinkles on the forehead and around the yes, I don't look much like I did in High school. Of course, neither does McD anymore. I've read about what's happened to OUR school and it's like they're writing about somewhere else. It's depressing. Anyway, I joined the Navy and left right after getting my deploma and missed the graduating ceremony, but have been to 2 of my four children's. I married my first wife after coming back from Vietnam Nam, had a beautiful daughter, now lives in Hammond, divorced after 2yrs. Married again in 1982 to a beautiful woman w/3 kids (11,9...Expand for more
and 9mos) and adopted the 9mo old when he was 7) the other 2 didn't want to. Moved to SDiego in 1982 w/the Navy and been here ever since. Retired after 20yrs service and still kicking. Visited New Orleans 3 was before Katrina to help 1 of my sister-laws move to WA. (1 of 5) lucky, huh? What a mess that was... A fishing state, boat dealers all over N.O. And people didn't raid those dealerships and help survivors, instead raided Walmart and other stores!?!?! Wow - I know my first thought would have been to get a boat and start collecting people and their pets.... Anyway, normal stuff about me, balding, type2 diabetic, high blood pressure and normal aches and pains for my age. Just living a normal life. Hope all of you are doing the same. Best wishes and God Bless. Go Trojans.......
