Joseph's Story
I, Joseph “Clarence” Teague, started my life journey the fall after our graduation in June of 1969. I went off to College (Tuskegee Institute) in Alabama. After participating as a walk-on to the football team the second to last game of the season. I suffered a second knee injury that required surgery. I rehab and participated the following year, with very little success and nagging injuries. I subsequently dropped out return to St Louis, which allowed me to regroup for approximately 1.5 years and then enrolled at Lincoln University in Jefferson City MO. It was here I enrolled and obtained a Structural Engineering Degree and met my current wife (Linda), and have 5 Kids, 14 Grand-kids and 4 Great-Grand-kids, sprawled out from Indianapolis Area, Seattle Area, Phoenix Area, Las Vegas Area & St Peters & Flor...Expand for more
issant Areas.
I began my employment with the Telecommunication Industry. I worked in Jefferson City, and was then transferred to Ft Dodge IA, I then spent a 6-9 month Assignment up in Burnsville MN, then was transferred back Jefferson City MO, followed by a transfer to West Plains MO. In 1988/1989, I transferred again to Wentzville MO (living in St Ptrs MO), followed by a transfer to Everett WA (N Seattle). My last transfer took me to Irving TX. It was there I retire from Verizon in 2011. And after the housing market somewhat returned I sold my residence in TX and returned to the St Louis Area (Bridgeton, MO) where I currently reside.
As I’m sure most of us have had similar journeys (perhaps not as many moves), yet, the ultimate Pursuit was Happiness along the Way. I think I achieved some of that!
