After 12 years in the US Navy as a Musician, I was invited to work for a lay buddhist association when they opened their first Center in Los Angeles. I have been working for them ever since.
I served as the General Director of the Reiyukai in the Philippines for three years before my current position as General Manager for the United States. Working with this association has given me the opportunity to travel to other countries such as England, Ita...Expand for more
ly, Brazil, Peru, Mexico, Korea, the Philippines, Thailand, India, Nepal, and of course Japan on many occasions. My service in the US Navy also gave me the opportunity to experience many different cultures. In fact, I lived in Japan for 6 and 1/2 years, and married a wonderful Japanese woman. We have been happily married now for 38 years.
I know, it says "work biography" but I couldn't help adding that bit about my marriage. Best thing that ever happened to me.
