I have been in Houston for about 29 year and living in the Woodlands, Texas about 35 miles north of Houston for about 20 years. I am surrounded with Golf Courses and living the viva loca or your perfect neighborhood, "leave it to Beaver", supper conservative, bible thumbing world. Great place for us to raise the family, we have a condo on West Galveston, right on the beach too. We spend about 40% of our time at the condo now that the kids are gone. We are right on the water, 100 feet from the shore. It has changed our lives since we bought it in 2006. YES - We are empty nester now. Parenting is done with and we are have a great time traveling more. Joseph, my son, gradulated from the Woodlands High in 2005, and my daughter in 2007. Joseph graduated from Texas Tech with a BS in GeoScience. and GeoPhysics. And my daughter took off right after graduation and is studying music in Tacoma College in Washington. She really took off, and is living her dream. I have been in the IT world since I left LA many years ago. Through the years I put in many consulting years at ENRON in late 80's and 90s, never was an employee, but developed many of their trading systems. In 2001 I got into Corporate Software sales and left IBM in 2009, now work an Aussy company, Aconex. Its great, I work out of my office from home, and travel mostly in the South region.
