Joshua's Story

Life After high school I moved to FL and started working in a military based electronics corporation. I worked there for three years then got a call from an old friend who asked if I wanted a job in a recording studio. I quit my job and headed to Jacksonville a week later. While in Jacksonville I had a great time but realized I didn't want to help others write and record their music I wanted to do it for myself. I don't know why I did what I did but I joined the army and now here I am. I am well on my way to having my own studio. I write and record my own music, and I've done a few records for some local bands. I want to get into the managing aspect of the music business before I get out of the army. building my own studio and shopping my songs around to publishers. Being in the military has been a definite learning experience. I have accomplished things i never thought possible, from 8 mile runs through the desert, to 25 mile road marches. The feeling you get at the end of such feats is beyond measure. I have been serving in the same unit now for over 2 years. We have done a tour to Kuwait, and are about to go to back soon. I have also been to Saudi Arabia, Egypt,and Jordan I have seen a little bit of Ireland, and Spain being in the military. By the way, Ireland is absolutely the most beautiful country I have ever seen. You have never seen such green grass, wonderful stone castles built on islands that jet up out of the sea. I was in awe when I set my eyes on that land, simply beautiful, and pure. Perfect....... Anyway just a little about myself and this thing they call the military. Looking forward to hearing from all those that are out there.
