Josie Bean:  

Life I am excited to be a new grandma (grandson Jacob Aiden born 6.18.2008). I married John Gasbarro at age 18 and from that marriage came my son Chris (born 1968). After our divorce when Chris was 6 mos. old I met Bill Bean and we married 1 year later and were married for 21 years. My daughter Andrea was born in 1972 (we were living in Massachusetts then). Our family moved to a suburb of Washington DC where we lived for 8 years. We opened 2 college bookstores there and did okay for a time. We had a crook for a partner and so wound up losing our house in Takoma Park as well as the businesses. After that we moved to Wolfsville, MD (near Camp David). Bill continued to buy and sell college textbooks and we both became active in the volunteer fire department. Life was good for years. We opened a deli/pizzeria called Beaner's and worked non-stop trying to get it up and running. After a while things started to go down hill. We separated in 1989 and divorced in 1991.
