Joy's Story
Hi Fellow Classmates,
It has been a long time since the day's of high school. My life has been anything but uneventful. It feels as though I have lived 10 life times in one.
Back in the 70's there still was this notion to teach
daughters their place was to grow up, get married and have children (well at least in my family).
Needless to say I did just that in my 18th year and had my first child 2 months shy of 20. I was against having any doctor tell me how to give birth seeing how women have doing this s...Expand for more
ort of thing since the begining of time. I elected to educate myself and if need be I could deliver the baby myself. living off Empire Grade in Bonny Doon the possiblity was high....... thank God I didn't need to as the midwife got to my home in plenty of time.
And so it went, I would become the perfect wife, mother and hostess. My husband was a good man but the responsibilities of providing soon turned to be overwhelming and when I became with child again it became . this would be the begining of the end.
