Joy's Story
After all this time, thought I would add some info to my profile...Married, 3 grown children,(one son,twin daughters)
four adorable grandchildren. Trying hard to stay healthy, walk over 3 miles a
day and work out in the gym,, never did I think that would be me....So sad that many of our classmates are no longer
with us, and I am trying to stay around as long as possible for my family and friends.
My sister Carolyn (class of '63) and I remain close. She was married to David Tyson, class of 64, who passed away
in 1988 . Their daughter attended Univ of Miami on scholarship for volleyball so Carolyn and I enjoyed 4 years of
traveling around the country watching her play. She is now a government attorney living in Jax. My
sister and I go to all the Gator games and travel to Vegas for fun!

I retired from Prudential as an executive, then 2 years with Aetna after they bought out the group department.
Enjoy living , never looked back. Successful children, one daughter is a VP for a large mortgage software company,
other, who is pregnant is an excellent neonatal nurse, son just returned from Afganistan. Spent almost 8
years there and in Iraq doing counter intelligence for the State Dept .He is an Army Vet and worked as a deputy
sheriff in Naples, Fl. His wife is from Thailand, and will become an American citizen.
We had such a great time at our "Social Security" party last year, though sad looking at the lists of classmates
who passed on. Sure hope many more come to our 50th . Many great wishes for any of you who read this to live
long, happy and successful lives,,,,Joy
