Joy's Story
I am a stay at home mom to two beautiful children. Cameron, my son was born in June of 1999. Audrey, my daughter was born on my birthday in January of 2003. I married Jim Deubig who graduated from Orange Glen in 1986. We wed in October of 1996. In December of 1999 we purchased our Escondido home. I volunteer quite a bit at my kid's school (Reidy Creek). I workout 5 days a week at our local YMCA or playing tennis. My kids are active in softball, baseball, basketball and swim lessons. Quite a bit of time is spent taking the kids to their various activities & tutors. I occasionally coach/manage kid's softball/baseball each year. Purchased a travel trailer in 2005 and go camping several times a year. I like San Elijo, Camp Pendleton, Anza Borrego, Santee Lakes and Lake Skinner to name a few. I have a wonderful group of friends and family to go with so it's a lot ...Expand for more
of fun. I enjoy going to Charger games. When I can, I love to get away with my sisters and friends to Glen Ivy Day Spa! Lounge, massage, read, sun... Love it all! I don't sing professionally anymore; just to the kids and in the car. When I'm good, I attend St. Timothy's Catholic Church where I sing from the pew with my kids. I worked for several years for my Dad and sister, Tina at their respective Chevron stations until I got a job at A.O. Reed, a plumbing and mechanical contractor in 1992. I worked my way up to Contracts Administrator, until I quit just before Cameron was born. We own our own general construction company and I help in the office a couple hours a week. Currently I am filling out job applications! I've always wanted to be waitress. Meet new people all day long and staying busy on my feet.
I've changed a lot and feel more change coming to me soon.
