Joyce's Story
Life
My life...I live in the country near Kansas City on 22 acres. I have four children, one daughter and three sons. My youngest son is a MARINE is a weather forecaster stationed in South Carolina, My oldest son has a Master's Degree in Computer Science is married and has two lovely daughters. My middle son has a BA in IT as does my daughter. Middle son is a volunteer scuba diver for the Lee Summit Rescue and Recovery team.
My daughter and I show and raise French Bulldogs and now German Pinschers. Our dogs have been invited to and competed at Westminster and the Eukanuba Invitational on several occasions. We have over 25 champions that we have bred. We also have horse...Expand for more

I have worked for a national medical association for over 20 years focusing on public health issues and have developed national health policies in a variety of areas, breastfeeding, substance abuse, mental health, violence prevention, safety issues, etc. Prior to that I was Executive Director for a small national medical association with members engaged in tissue typing for organ transplants, I also work as a Regional Director for the Kidney Foundation and the Midwest Organ Bank.
I'm a 9 year survivor of Breast Cancer! It has been a journey with much learned about myself and others.
Looking forward to early retirement....I'd still like to be a writer.
