Joyce's Story
Life
My Spouse
This is my 2nd marriage, we met on the internet 19 yrs ago. Rod was a computer consultant with Sprint & is now working with Bank of America. We own a ranch style house sitting on 60 acres. For the first time in over 20 years I can see the Milky Way. Not too crazy over the coyotes tho.
My Pets
In Pennsylvania I had 2 Bichon Frise's, Max & Beaumont, who are very much missed. Recently passed away are Sargent (German Shepherd-Lab mix) who my son rescued & Fancy (a cocker spaniel). Currently in the house I have cats Daisy, Louis, Charlie,Twinky, Cuddles, Popcorn, Hope & Teddy Bear (all ex-ferals). We also have Ruger (Great Dane, Bull Mastiff, Lab mix). We also have Ruger's nieces with us Duchess & Annie (who are Great Dane, Bull Mastiff, Lab, Chow & Rottie mix). Can we say BIG girls along with Jazz, a black & tan coonhound who we rescued. In the WarmFuzzy's Shelter & Sanctuary there are approximately 18 feral cats and 7 cats waiting to be adopted. We care for many hospice animals, animals that are un-adoptable due to medical issues such as Sophie who had half her rear leg chopped off by somebody.
My Kids

hysical Ed was going to be a teacher. He was the typical "jock" in school-Team Captain for the Cross Country team & Swim Team. He will be graduation in May 2005. Robert is now a Kansas City MO Police Officer, married to Sarah with two children.
Timothy -stepson - divorced, moved to Los Vega, CA.
Logan - stepson, was a US Marine, been to Iraq & Afghanistan, divorced, moved to PA.
My Job
I run WarmFuzzy's Animal Shelter & Sanctuary, a non-profit organization dealing with rescue, adoption & humane animal education. I am also the owner of JEM Services - Office Support Service business I worked full time for Prescription Solutions, mail order drug service for AARP & United Healthcare in the Medicare Part D division until I contracted a terminal illness 3 years ago.
I always wanted to be a vet when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a good idea. As it turns out, they were not totally wrong..
When things get a little frazzled I sit at my kitchen table looking out my sliding glass door & watch the grass grow, the hawks fly over head, the rain fill my pond that the herd of cows like to play in.
If I won $100 million, I'd give some of it to my parents & sister, then spend the rest on building a new house, a pickup truck and WarmFuzzy's Shelter..
