My Pets
My cat is named Speedy. We (my son and I) adopted him after our first cat died. Little did we know he is part Siamese and very vocal. We recently moved and he seems to not get along with the neighbors (cats that is) and is constantly getting his butt kicked and then limping home until he feels better. Then he proceeds to go out and do it again. Don't think he'll ever learn.
My tortoises name is Mr. T. He is very young. I'm guessing maybe 5 years old? He's so cute! He fits in the palm of your hand and is very low maintenance. f the ravens out here. I will keep my little dinosaur. He/she will probably outlive me!
My Kids
My son (Matthew) has been the light of my life for 17 years. Having him also taught me to grow up! I have been a single parent so we are a little smaller than your average family. Trying to remember what it was like being 17 and thinking your parents know nothing is the biggest challenge I've faced yet. I remember thinking the same about my parents but it is kinda different BEING the parent! Matt has a great love for skateboarding and is very good at it (of course this Mom talking). I have a hard time not worrying about him hurting himself but he could do that just crossing the street. I never realized how expensive skateboards and everything that goes with them was! He recently got his first job and passed the probation period so his first real step into the real world has begun. I wish him all the luck!
