Joyce's Story
Hello. I lived in Irving almost for ever it seems. Graduated from Irving High in 1966. I drove a 57 black and white chevy my Senior year. I was married shortly in 1967 to someone that graduated from Adamson high school, had a son, then got divorced. I am re-married in 1970. Have a total of three children, 5 grand children. They have gone to Irving schools at some time. About to have a great grand child in Sept. 2010. My 3 children and 4 of my grand children live in Irving.

ntil I retired in 2005 then I moved to Lake Whitney. I raise my oldest granddaughter and she graduated from Whitney High School. There where only 86 kids in here graduating class. We moved to get her out of the Irving school system. Just wasn't the same town that we grew up in. The country is a much better place to live. It is somewhat like Irving was when we were growing up. There is less than 2000 people here and probably only a total of 1000 or less kids in all the grade levels combined.
