Life I'm Joyce Aldrich in Mdbg now, by Lake Asbury off CR 218. About 9 years ago, after computer pgming for years, I retired to spend time at the old homestead. I just spent a year working at Kohls and now have been working at Home Depot part time for about 6 months. I transferred from the Fleming Island store to help open the new store at Blanding and Brannenfield (halfway between OP and Middleburg). I worked there until the hubby talked me out of it so we could travel. Years ago we both played tennis at Boone Park, 'A' teams. My husband still plays quite a bit at the 4.5 and 5.0 level. My knee problems have made it difficult for me to take it up again though. My husband Sandy, retired from NADEP (IT dept), NAS (DOD Civil Service) 2 yrs ago. I have one son, Russell, age 24 who has finally flown the coop up into Orange Park. He and Sandy have entered a partnership to run the contractor FedX Ground route out in the Middleburg area (also Oakleaf Plantation and the new Walmart and Home Depot area). The area is growing in leaps and bounds. I have 2 Arabian horses, Remy (Rohara Rembrandt) and Sierra (Tzar's Tsierra) that I love dearly who keep me busy. I do some lite showing of Remy, who if I had around a half mil a year to spend would be at the Arabian Nationals. But I don't so he isn't. *G* My other 'children' are my JRT, Shredder and Amber the kitty. We do a good bit of traveling now, down to Captiva Island with a ton of friends and 2 boats. We had a blast. We went up to Michigan and Tennessee to visit relatives this last summer. We went to Las Vegas in December with family, staying at Circus Circus.
