Joyce's Story

Joyce is from Saginaw, Michigan. She is married. Her schools include Arthur Hill High School. Bay City Junior College, and Central Michigan University. I worked a lot of years as a Realtor, and also substitute taught. One of Joyce's favorite quotes is:"This is the day the Lord has made. Let us rejoice and be glad in it. Psalm 118...24". Ed and I were married in 1957. We lived in Saginaw for a year and then moved to Pittsburgh Pennsylvani...Expand for more
a because of a job. I loved Pittsburgh. We raised three children there . We have one daughter Debra and two sons Paul and Walter.. I always thought we would move back to Saginaw, but instead, we moved to Florida in 2003. Most people adjust very quickly to Florida heat, and we certainly did. We are year round residents. Ed and I have been married for fifty-seven years and the time has passed so quickly. It has been a wonderful adventure.

This is the plant in my neighbor lois's yard. It is an old dead orange tree with the branches trimmed and is holding up a beautiful orchid plant.
This is my Hong Kong orchid tree before we trimmed it and after. It looks like a sculpture now. Next January, it will look like the before picture again.
