Joyce's Story
Who I was - I was one of the few girls that attended regular classes, married, and pregnant.
I was married for 30 years, the last ten of the 30 we were seperated. I divorced about 11 years ago.
For the past 3 years I have been seeing someone special, Ron. We travel together and have a lot of laughs. My "now" picture was taken by my cousin Linda, on one of our trips. I have 9 grandchildren with one on the way; 4 of them are mine biologically (plus the one on the way), 3 are step grandchildren and 2 I call emotionally adopted grandchildren (I have been their Grammie their entire life). everyone. They fill my life with love. I have added a new family member to my family. I recently adopted a chihuahua from the SPCA. She keeps me company when I am alone and brightens the lives of everyone she meets. My hobby is making things, especially jewlery. I like tumbled stone chip beads. I make most of my jewlery from them. Another hobby is collecting rocks. I have a nice size collection. I own my own modest home. I work for a college in Clovis, ITT Technical Institute. I have been there for over 3 years and I enjoy it. I do administrative work, assist in student records and the library, but mostly reception.
