Joyce's Story
Life
I lived in Tennessee for 4 years and in Houston for 5 years. My husband, 2 kids (a boy, 9, and girl, 11) and I moved to Lafayette, LA in June 2005. I taught high school Biology and Chemistry for 4 years and served as an Assistant Principal for 1 year. We also lived in the Washington, DC area where my husband coached football at Howard University and I taught middle school Science. Now we are in Daytona Beach, FL (Loving it!) I teach Science here also at an all girls' school and my husband is the assistant head coach at Bethune-Cookman University (Go Wildcats!) I get back to Cameron a couple of times a year or so to see my mother and brother.
