Joyce's Story
Life
I married Carl Stockton (my love since second grade).We live in Chickasha and have 1 son who has 3 sons and a daughter. I retired from teaching after 32 years. We have been involved in a prison ministry for over 37 years and are still active. We have made several missionary trips to Mexico, Jamaica, the Applachians, and to the Navajo reservation in AZ. We enjoy camping and I'm learning dutch oven cooking. We have taken several bus trips and enjoy meeting people and seeing the beauty in the world. racker and Duke. They keep us busy along with our horses, 5 guineas, koi fish, and 2 stray cats. I sew with a group who sew quilts/laprobes for nursing homes, veterans, etc. The Grady County fair finished last night. I won a blue ribbon on my canned apricots and pickled beets; red on my apricot jam. This is my first attempt. Our life is busy with our grandkids and doing some of the things we enjoy. I would like to hear from anyone in the class of 1962. That was a good year. As I recall, the rain and thunder didn't stop us as we graduated.
