Joyce's Story
To My 1959 Classmates and Friends!!!!
After graduation I moved to Nebraska, my home town. I worked for the National Guard, as a secretary to a Major
who was the commanding officer of Officers Candidate
School. I was there for a year and then moved back to California, I missed the beach!!!! I married in 1962 had
two children, two years a part. One girl and one boy.
I was a stay at home mom for years. Then continued
my education at CA State Long Beach, in Career Education.
I was hired by the Regional Occupations Program (ROP).
Worked at Anaheim Hight School as a Para Professional
Vocational Counselor.
After 22 years of marriage my x and I were living two
different life's and decided to get a divorce. It was
a difficult time for me. I was 43 and a lone. As I grew in

Cathedral and remarried. I have been married 20 wonderful years. My husband and I have our own business (Marketing Plus International). We represent many different manufactures. We take their products to catalog buyers across the US. This gives us an opportunity to TRAVEL, which we love to do!!!! We have been blessed to travel too: Australia, Germany, Scotland, England, Italy, Switzerland, Austria, Belgium, France, Ireland, Holland, Amsterdam, Norway and to all most every state in the US. Our favorite song is "On The Road Again".
My life has been blessed in so many ways, but not with
out some challenging times. We certainly have had our
share of troubling problems, but we have always got through them by being there for each other!!!
I hope I can connect with some of you at the 50th class
reunion!!!!
