Juan's Story

I went into the Marines in Nov 67 after graduation. I served for 4 yrs 7 months and 29 days. But who's counting. I met my wife when I got back from overseas (Viet Nam). We married in 71 and when I was discharged after a year of dating. On Aug 4th,1972 upon my discharge from the Marines we moved to Mpls MN where she was from. Mpls Star Tribune in Sept 72 as a apprentice in the Mailroom. I worked there for 35 years. I took a buy out in 72 ans retired as a supervisor We have two daughters, 7 grandchildren and now 1 great grandson and a little girl on the way. After 45 years of marriage my wife passed away in sept 2, 2016. I still live in MN but now live in Burnsville, MN.
