Juanita's Story

I taught for 30 yrs. I taught in Rio Hondo the first , and the last 29 yrs. were spent at my Alma Mater Lyford CISD. I was retired for 1 yr., and returned to work for a Child Placing Agency IES. I worked for another 10 yrs. I finally retired. This is my 3rd yr. of retirement. Enjoying it!! I have 3 children and 9 grandchildren. This pandem...Expand for more
ic crisis has affected people in so many different ways; however, I'm surviving because I keep busy by watching over my grandkids while their parents work, and I take care of our pets, and finally, I keep myself busy with gardening. I give thanks to our Lord for each day that He wakes us up. I hope that everyone is taking care and keeping safe!
