Judi's Story
Finally finished school in Green Bay,WI in about 72. Due to my bad judgement and marriage to a guy from Platteville,WI. Biggest mistake of my life! Corrected that mistake in about 1982. Moved from N. Wi to Milwaukee area and married a great guy from Oak Creek.Owned florist shops there. We parted company about 8 years later and I moved to Huntington Beach,CA. Yep! Surf City,USA. It was O>K> for a few years then moved N.--to Sonoma County. Wine Country. Have been here since 94. Married another great guy in 97 and divorced last year and am taking care of him. Have owned and operated a night janitorial company and a separate maid service during the day for about 15 years. Also am a nationally certified Community Association Manager with elevated licensure in CA and a separate license to practice in Florida. Have been a paralegal since 1994 and am currently working on a 44 family lawsuit. Absolutely love what I do--and cannot think of retiring at all. People get OLD when they do that! When I grow up I want to move back to Florida (lived there in the 70'sand80's) and sit on the beach there--hopefully not picking up tarballs from the BP spill. Ah,such is life!
Thank you to all the people who;when I was a "mixed-up" kid, were helpful. My life has been a true adventure-and continues to be. Hopefully, you all have lived fully,loved muchly,and rejoice every day you look at the sod from the top down!!!
Dubuque was a wonderful place to grow up and I am most thankful for my Mid-West roots.Give me a shout-it would be great to hear from some old Dubuque-ers!
I always wanted to be a Pilot when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a bad idea. As it turns out, they were right.
My current age is 64. When I was 12, I thought that people my age now would be embalmed. I was so completely clueless!!!.
My first job was at Dairy Queen, where I got paid $.65 per hour to WORK. What I remember most about it is the greasy grill!.

SOOOOO-NOW I have moved back to Florida! S. of Ocala. Thrilled to be back! Still settling in yet-then will look for a new challenige. . Retirement just won't work for me. My ex,Rich,is here and I help him as much as I can. His memory problem(Dementia) is.....and will be.....but what would you do if it was your best friend??? Sooooo life is a challenge-but the right thing to do is always the right thing to do. Weird that your ex is your best friend,right? ONLY friends since 1998.. Just friends.
It is 78 here today and there is a whole flock of robins in my front yard!! Tell me how Dubuque is these days!!!
Working for A,T&T now as a Human Resources Specialist-I test candidates for employment . Also work for a law firm out of Merritt Island, Florida. I do their intake work in Marion County. So----can we be pen pals??

65 now and busy as ever. Also on ourtime.com. Enjoying each day in Florida...love the torrential sunshine weather! Hope to hear from some Dubuque people.

Yes----still looking for Mr. Funderful-Wonderful HA! He'll have to be a pretty understanding guy!! Still need to lose the 23 pounds--Where's that witch ,Jenny Craig, when you need her????
68 now and survived a heart attack 2 months ago. Lucky!!!!! Now am 68!!! Recovered pretty well and have 2 great stents! Lost 28 pounds and still want to lose more.
