Judi's Story
After high school I went to Oklahoma University because my father had been in the Air Force and retired the same year, (1962) ,so our permanent address was Oklahoma City, my mother's parents address. My Dad went to work for the Federal Avaitation Agency in New York City. Then he got a transfer to Kansas City MO and my parents moved here, to KCMO.
My first job was at Hallmark Cards as a film finisher, for 5 years, then I went to work at Univ. of Mo at Kansas City (UMKC) for another 5 years, got married to Mike Capon...Expand for more
etto, had 2 children, Brice (now 32) and Angela (now 29), Brice has a son, 4 years old next month. Angela has a husband and they live 10 miles south of us in Greenwood, MO. We now live in Lee's Summit, MO. which is 10 blocks south of KCMO.
When I retired 5 years ago, I had worked in printing, teaching, and social work for 43 years. My husband is going to retire in a year or two. We have 2 little dogs here at home and I still work for the Election Board (only 3 or 4 days a year). I also babysit my grandson, Jake, 2 days a week.
