Judi's Story
Life
I've stayed in the Tacoma area since graduation except for 9 years spent in eastern WA. Coming back to Tacoma really was 'coming home'. I retired from working within the Law Enforcement community March 1, 2011 after 26 years and love not having to get up for work. My two daughters live in Tacoma too, and both within 3 miles. I have 3 of my 6 grandchildren living with me so the house is usually a disaster and there are always dirty dishes around it seems. I've had enough diverse experiences in my lifetime to write a book, but it would bore even me besides reading like a bad sitcom! y I hope to go to Iceland. All in all I've had an eventful life but the best is yet to come! On May 6, 2014 I became a "Grape Grandma" for the first time!
School
Being a military brat we moved around a lot thanks to Uncle Sam and finally settled in the Lakewood area where my father retired from the Army. The schools I listed for Brodhead, WI and Germany may be incorrect as I wasn't old enough to remember the names and some may have changed. I regret that I wasn't old enough to really appreciate the different countries we were stationed in, nor the different military posts stateside but the wanderlust in me has given me the opportunity to at least visit the stateside areas.
