Judi's Story
Greetings to all,
I can't believe it is Feb. 2012, don't know where the time has gone. I am doing well, retired 4 years ago,still living in the Seattle area, still married to the same wonderful man and enjoying life to the fullest.
I have 3 children - well 1 is a step-daughter but I think of her as my own. Greg my son ( who lives in northern California)will be 44 this year. He has 2 children, Shane 21 and Derek 12. Denise my daughter (who will be 39 this yr)lives in Sri Lanka with
her husband and 3 boys, Rashad 12, Abdulla 9 and Ameer 8. Frances (my step-daughter) lives in Reno and doesn't have any children yet (thank goodness). With our luck she would have a boy. 5 grandsons and no granddaughters but they are all good kids and such a joy. e the yearly trip to Sri Lanka, staying about a month and then the kids come here a couple of times a year to visit and Dee and her husband take care of business in the U.S. and up in Canada. My dad died in Nov. 2011 at he age of 89 but my Mom is still going strong. I drive up and down I-5 to Palm Springs, Ca. (where Mom is) about every couple of months, taking my 2 guard dogs with me. They are BIG boys so Steve doesn't worry to much about me. Mom doesn't like coming to our neck of the woods even in the summer time, says it is to cold. She is right. Even in summer it is not that warm for her. If the temp isn't 80 to 100 degrees F. she is in her winter clothes. Guess that happens when you have lived in warm weather for most of your life.
I will try to updated as much as possible. I'm heading down south again tomorrow.
