Judie's Story
Life
After leaving Wilson, I went to LBCC for two years and then to
Cal State LB obtaining a BA in Speech Communication and a credential in Communicative Disorders.
I worked as a Speech/Language Specialist for twenty years and then back to school I went to
obtain my classroom teaching credential. I have taught in the primary grades in a great elementary school

rld. Since I missed the
motherhood experience, I am hopeful of meeting someone with grandchildren that I
can spoil! Life is great and I am enjoying every minute of it. Being a breast cancer survivor for ten years,
I really came to realize that each day we are given is a gift. Am anticipating retirement in the next year and a half. Will probably reinvent myself
yet again. What that will be has yet to be determined but I know it will be interesting.
