Judie's Story

My Life: Married my high school chemistry partner, Michael "Scott" Gray in 68, and made our first of 7+ moves from west coast to east coast. The first few were related to his Marine Corps activity. After his discharge, We settled in New Jersey in 1972 where he worked for the Dept of Justice and I was a stay at home mom for our son Doug, until 1974, when I went back to school and became an RN, working in Neuro rehab at whats now known as Kessler Institute... taste of traveling the world, starting w/ East Asia. While on Guam, I got a job teaching nursing with the understanding that I would be traveling every chance I could get! Meanwhile, I worked on my BSN. Upon returning to USA, 1985, we settled in VA. I completed my BSN and went on to get my MSN in Nursing as an Adult Nurse Practitioner. Had a successful carreer in Neuro Rehab, until 2006 when I decided to join my husband in retirement and start living my childhood dream life delving into art of all kinds...
