Life I have been living in Florida since 1992, moving here from Bayville, N.J. and have one son, Kevin. He lives in Orlando. My grandson Cody is 10 and lives in Mississppi.I have been in the Cosmetology business in many forms the last 38 years. I had taught cosmetology in Irvington Vocational School for one year. After moving back to Toms River, I began contracting beauty salons in skilled nursing homes.I Began working for L. A. Hair in 1986, a small company in Pa. as an operations manager with salons in these facilities in New York, Conn. and New Jersey. The company merged with another company called Generations Salon Services and I was transferred to the East Coast of Fl. in l992. I lived there for 2 years then moved to North Port, Fl. on the west coast. I have been in North Port since 1995. Jim my significant other and I have a Fl. style pool/jacuzzi home. He is retired from Nabisco Co. and takes care of things around the house while I work. He has one son, grandaughter, 3, and grandson almost a year old living in ILL. where he is from. My job takes me from Naples to Ocala, into Orlando, Inverness, and mostly every county on the west coast. I manage about 50 salons in Skilled Nursing, Assisted Living Facilities, Retirement communities, Alzheimer units and Rehab Centers.
