Judith McCready:  

After high school, I attended the university of Maryland school of nursing and graduated in 1968 . I met my future husband, Dan, during his second week of medical school. Upon graduation, we married and I worked as a public health nurse in the Druid Park area of Baltimore. My husband did his first year of internship and residency in Delaware. At the beginning of his internship, we had our daughter, Julie. After those two years, my husband owed the Navy two years. We moved to Virginia Beach and several months later, we had our son, Timothy. After two years in the Navy, we moved back to Delaware so that Dan could finish his residency( I cried the whole way over the Bay Bridge-Tunnel and off and on rte 13). We will have been married 45 years this July. I did volunteer work in my children's elementary school, some civic work and tons of church work.
