Judith's Story
Hi y'all ..just remembered what I wrote in Janus '64 ..Judy Coyne leaves for greener pastures.. & here I am down south (2nd tour of duty) & I love it. Yep the bible-belt & great weather.
Altho I'm still a snowbird at heart ..its great down here.
Everyone loves flowers/shrubs
& doin' yardwork (including me) Seems like we do yard work ..then take off for a w/e bike ride..for my husband's 50th happy birthday I bot him a Harley - it changed our lifestyle - love being in the fresh air (yes I wear hemlet when I have to).
I am high on life...work smart
& do volunteer w/Crisis Ministery uptown Charlotte NC
boardmember w/homeowners assoc & my beautiful church.
(here's a story 2 yrs ago I attend a funneral of a churchmembers son - at reception line I heard my name called out in delight - I turned 'round & there was Marty Driscoll Choquette ('64) & brother Richie...
it was their 1st cousin's son funneral & they were in Clt NC for it...while talking w/my priest..Marty said "what happened in East Hartford..stays in EH" LOL While in CT I worked w/State Senator W. Smith (D)
great man..great experience
in political arena -he had 1/2 Htfd constituents ..Sen Chris Dodd the other half.
Law has always been my forte..
I worked for several criminal lawyers in Htfd Attys Joe Fazano & Cardwell& Cardwell..
After awhile I needed a break from the 9-7pm job & started doing T-shirts designs wayback when t-shirts were just worn as underwear. Did design & silkscreening - you learn what people want something for nothing... did alot of NYC trips nice place to visit yet never wanted to live there. en know how spell it & Engish & History were my best studies!
I always wanted to be a mermaid..then a Hawaiin to a dancer...my dreams came true..I own my own Trucking Company..yep an 18 wheeler
I have my own ICC rights IFTA
MC & FMCA (truckin' jargon)
Also all the high price diesel fuel & road taxes that come w/it. Downsized over the years from dozen tractor/trailers to 1 & no hired hands some good stories there :( My husband drives cross counrty every week - just bought new reefer that would be (refrigerated trailer) to haul produce & food. Figure in this economy state ..people have to eat - when I see what brokers are paying to haul food products & the markup in the grocery stores I figure this is our contribution to
feeding the hungry & poor.
To offset driving "big rig"
Iron Horse Express, Inc. Black trk&trailer..we get on
black Harley go from 18 to 2 wheels..have a 5thwheel toyhauler..when time is crunched & we want take off
Cherokee Mtns or Myrtle Beach

Sooo let's all get in touch as I have finally pd my dues
