Judith's Story
I've lived in one place or another on the West Coast since 1966. I spent 10 months on a small sailboat sailing around the coast of Mexico and also lived in Guadalajara, Mexico for 2 1/2 years. I retired from the County of San Diego in 2006 and returned to work for them part-time from 2007-2008 till the budget cuts ended my job. I've been vegetarian for going on 40 years, now almost 100% vegan. Here I am living in the heart of barbeque and margarita country and I'm veg and don't drink! es a week. I hike usually once a week; there's so many great places to hike here in SD. I have one shelter rescue dog and recently started fostering other dogs for a local rescue group. I've done different kinds of volunteer work. Right now all I'm doing is the foster mom thing with small dogs. I live in an apt. but I'm lucky enough to have a nice patio and fenced yard.Trying to grow tomatoes without much success. Oh well! I've travelled to India a few times where my spiritual teacher lives. Life is good and I don't even mind growing old.
