Judith's Story
Life
After graduating from Cubberley, I got my BA at UCLA and worked for 2 years for the welfare dept. there. That was about all I could take of LA and I went back to school at Chico to get my teaching credential.
I taught for Santa Clara County in both the Outdoor Education program and at the Juvenile Court School at the Boy's Ranch in Morgan Hill. I was in the middle of getting a counseling degree whenI met my terrific husband David, in 1976 and moved with him to Susanville in 1977. We raised our daughter there and I dabbled in antiques in between teaching stints. We moved back to the bay area in 2000 to take care of parents. We have a grandson, Eli, who turned 3 in June 2011 and another baby on the way, due December 2011. Our plan is to move to Sacramento within the next year to be closer to my daughter Leslie and her family.
I taught first grade in Los Altos for 11 years and retired in June 2011, YAHOO! I enjoy traveling, reading, golfing, crafting and playing with friends. I keep...Expand for more

It has been a very rewarding experience to work on the last two class reunions and I look forward to the 50th in 2014. In the meantime I'll be enjoying our local get togethers and invite any class members to join us. Keep in touch and current with our class hot mail account, cubberley64. You can also join our 1964Cubberley Yahoo group.
3/2012 UPDATE
Moving to Citrus Heights in a few days to be near my daughter and her family. Our granddaughter, Jocelyn, arrived on 12/27/2011 and is a darling! We are looking forward to being hands-on grandparents and spending time with the most important people in our lives.

I do not visit the classmates.com site often and encourage any class of '64 members to join our exclusive class website, cubberley1964.com. I am much more active on that site and would love to hear from any classmates there.
